Looks good to me and luv the colours. Your points aren't off that much - even the most practiced quilter can have difficulty matching so don't sweat it.

Your block looks great! Think of a quilt like this: One block at a time , then One row at a time then one border at a time and before you know it it will be sewn together. Keep up the good work, remember this, perfection comes after many years of practicing your skills.

But what a sense of accomplishment. I have just been quilting since 09 and am still learning. Right now I am sitting writing on the quiltingboard with my first quilt over my lap. Quilting is such a wide open field of interests and variety. I see you exploring and trying everything until you find what is your favorite area of interest. Enjoy and so glad you are here. You will learn soooo much.
