This is silly but my first attempt at a traditional block.
My favorites are the Ohio Star and the Log Cabin so this was my first attempt. I couldn't get the points to match up because I didn't know about the "scant 1/4" seam etc. and not real good at choosing fabrics so I just used some scrap fabrics to try it. I will learn!

I like the log cabin also but It has been a long time since I did one.

Thanks, Deb and everyone, I know right now the thought of making an entire quilt is still on the scarey side but I see that it is just one block at a time like everything else;)
