You have such a wonderful eye for creating something that uses that fabric to its best advantage! Your first? Wow! Keep posting your projects!

Gale, SHAME ON YOU ! I have been so good since I got a huge amount of cloth from my sister and just scan the sales and pass them up. But when I saw your darling purse I had to go see the cloth and now I am $145. poorer. Elizabeth Studio is now a name to remember.

I made a bag out of these fabrics for a friend that was turning 60 yrs. old for her birthday, filled it with bonbons, wine cheese and a few other items. She loved it and uses the bag all the time. That fabric is just so cute. I think I resemble the Pineapple Lady!

Love the bag! I made some simpler tote bags and pillow cases with that same Fruit Bottom Ladies fabric for a boutique last fall. They were a big hit. I had a pair of the pillowcases left so I gave them to our DS & DDIL for their 2nd wedding anniversary (it's the cotton anniversary!) They loved them and laughed so hard at all those ladies!!!! :D
