Your block looks great to me! I'm such an applique wanna be! I have several kits and have collected material for a couple of other applique quilts. I just haven't taken the plunge. I hope my first pieces will look as good as yours!

Great job. How did you do the accents? (vein on leaves, etc)

That's your first time to do needle turn?? I never had a first because I gave up. It looked awful, but yours looks GREAT! Like PaperPrincess said, you will be an expert by the time you finish the 39th one. Good luck.

Where can I find this pattern? Is it in a book or by itself? Could you let me know. I love to applique and you did such an amazing job that I want to make this quilt. Any help would be appreciated. Awesome job!! Jeanne

I used pigma pens for most of the accents. I've ordered some inktense pencils that I'm planning on using for some of the color variations on some blocks. They should be here next week.
Thanks for asking.

Oh, goodie, goodie. Do join me and the others working on the LBB. It will be a long haul but I'm so excited about it. I love this quilt.
