It's great that she can do this sewing considering her arthritis. I would just start on a quilt and put them together. It's more important to get it done and in her hands than to dither over the details. She's going to absolutely love it, no matter what, especially to see your interpretation of her work.

She's an artist! Not only are they perfectly made, but her use of fabric,fussy cutting etc is so nice. Lucky you! She's a treasure.

Son in laws Grma made enough yo yo's (all hand work) for 2 Q size bed covers.She was working on the 3rd when she passed.DD has one of her bed covers& treasures it.

Now get a template for the Dresden Plate and for Stars. She is sure in her element doing English PP. I have several boxes of different patterns and it is a great way to use up small scraps. Hoorah for your grandma in keeping her hands and her mind busy. I like that our older family members keep on keeping busy.

Maybe give her some soft green fabric for her to make the hexagons to go around each flower, and put it all together-?

Have you counted how many hexagons your prolific Mom made??? How long did it take her to make so many???
