Hi, your tablecloth is just beautiful. I have one my mom made us for our 15th anniversary. Wow, that was 39 years ago. You know, I didn't even ask mom, how long it took her to make it. You said it was 9 1/2 yrs. for yours. I got to thinking, last night. Feeling so stupid that I didn't give mom, more thanks for giving us such a precious gift of love. I remember telling her, "mom, I will Cherish this forever", but now wish I would of said much, much more! If only, I could tell her again.... I am attaching a picture of my tablecloth, that she made...

I never have covered it for all these years. Just am very protective of it.

I hope maybe mom knows I love it so...

Beautiful,I have a crocheted bedspread my mom made probably 30 years ago. she has been gone almost 20 years. i never had used it.got it out to use as atable cloth and it has come apart in places. Iam heartbroken. I can't find anyone who wants to tackle the repair.

That is gorgeous! That kind is started in the middle and worked to the outside in one large piece. Mine was individual little rounds connected as you go. I did it in sections and then crocheted them together. Any way you do it, it is a lot of work. Your mother know how much you cherish it.

That is such an incredible gift for you to make and give to your daughter. She will have it for ever and maybe even pass it on. The work is very impressive. Great, great job.

Yes, my 2 grandsons say they will pick a wife based on how much they appreciate the tablecloth. A neighbor girl who is the same age as my oldest grandson saw the tablecloth when I first put it on the table and proclaimed, "I am going to marry Nick so I can have that tablecloth." The girl's mother said, "And I'll back that marriage so I can enjoy the tablecloth too." Yah, in their dreams.....
