    Nice photo. I think I heard somewhere that they would hang quilts in openings when they did not have a door. It looks like they are sitting on stairs. Wonder if that is their front door?

    it kind of looks like drunkard's path but with dark squares on the ends of the Arc larger piece. the stripes are the pie piece. I've seen old photos like this, with quilts showing. wonderful.
