    Pollyv9 asked me to post a picture of my avatar. I think I might have done it before but am not sure. The pattern is from Lennie Honcoop's book "Floral Fantasies" I met her in Puyallup Washington @ the sewing Expo in 2010 and loved all her flowers and kits.

    Was wondering if you painted the color onto the trumpets. If so, what paint was used? I have a few ideas I'd like to try painting on my quilts with.

    Actually it is ink from Copic Alcohol Markers. You put the color on then blend the color with a blending pen.

    It is really beautiful. I would like to do this kind of work, but I do not know how difficult it is.
