    My avatar

I was asked by a member if I had a close-up picture of my avatar. This quilt was made in 20005/2006. I had seen this quilt on the cover of a "Quilter's Newsletter" magazine and drew it using EQ software.

Beautiful, but didn't it make you dizzy to make it? Especially the FMQ part? Would make my eyes cross!! You did a great job!

That is an incredible quilt, thanks for sharing the larger picture! Also.... about the EQ part.... what version of EQ are you using and did you work your way through the manuals or have classes. We/I am enjoying the classes that Rhonda has been doing for us on the forum....but not practicing as much as I should be!

At the time that I worked on this quilt, I was using EQ5. I now have EQ7, but don't think I have gotten much further with it. Like most skills, you have to work on it more than I do. I have not taken classes for EQ but at the time I did purchase a book on more advance design. I don't recall the name, it was written by one of the EQ employees. Thank you to everyone for your comments.
