Are the outside 'frames' wider than the inside ones?
I started with a 2-1/2" square, first frame is cut 1" and the second 1-1/2", alternating light, dark, etc.

That's very pretty. I'm not generally a fan of batiks (they scare me a little LOL), but I recently won a bunch of them as a guild door prize, so I need to figure out what to do with them. I love this linear-type design.

Sylvie, thanks for the information.
I appreciate it.
May want to do one like yours to use up all my 2.5" squares and narrow strip pieces.
Haven't got a lot of time for sewing but I could do this pattern. I could do a block whenever I have a bit of free time. After all, the pieces are already in plastic containers just waiting to be used!

Happy Quilting!

What a wonderful scrappy quilt. Thank-you so much for sharing. I have been playing around with the sizes of the initial blocks and strips. I just finished one that started with a 4 1/2" centre followed by a 1 1/2" frame and finished with a 2 1/2" outer frame which makes a 10 1/2" block. I want to try some other variations too. There are just so many possibilities and I do have a few scraps and strips. Thanks again.
