    Default My Avatar

This is my current Avatar. I have had a ton of inquiries regarding it. It is by Carol Doak and is block #18 - Janet's Block in "40 Bright and Bold Paper-Pieced Blocks". I did this for one of my Boomarang 9 swap buddies.
    Enjoy!!!

I saw it earlier and was admiring it from afar. Thanks for sharing.

I am especially proud of this one. Funny thing is, before the current swap, I had moved away from paper piecing in my quilting. I have now falling in love with this method all over again. After I complete some charity quilts I am working on, I think I am going to spend some time with my 2 Carol Doak books, perfecting my paper piecing....

Love the block. I've never tried paper peicing. Maybe I will since seeing your block.

The block is stunning! I've never looked at her books - guess I will have to remedy that situation! Not sure what you have to perfect - you've done great work!
