I hate to burst your happy place - but the quilt is exactly like mine and it was made in China - bought many years ago when they first came out at K-Mart and the like - look at the quilting - if there is no quilting in the dresdan plates - then it is just like mine. Same fabrics, borders, etc. Quite thin but I machine wash mine and line dry and it turns out just fine.

Oh, thank you, Nikki. No, you didn't burst my bubble. Made in China or in Little Town USA, it doesn't bother me where it was made. It is a pretty quilt; and I'm sure whoever bought it at first paid more than $15 for it. :-) I'm sure there are quilters in China (but of course, to be patriotic, it's best to buy "Made in the USA.") Thank you for letting me know. At least 'the mystery' is solved on the quilt's origin.

Oh my, did you feel like you had stolen it when you left ? What a lucky day for you. I wouldn't worry about the age of it either. It is absolutely beautiful. I love it, you lucky lady.
