I am amazed at your output and creativity. Each and every one of them is a beauty. Thanks so much for sharing and motivating those of us that really need to address those "mystery bags piled up in a corner"

What I've learned from your post is to JUST START. Make that first 16 patch. Then keep going and going. Soon you get new ideas on ways to sew them and by the time you get to five or ten or two you start telling yourself...what if I used some HST or put them on point or added stars in the sash. I hope I made sense. You've taught ME a great lesson! Thank you!

But I had no place for this bag of blocks...thus it was just "in my way"--so I decided to liquidate it. Now I have 14 more quilt tops to deal with!

You are all very kind and thanks for the nice comments.
It was really just a challenge to myself.
I did use up all my "blah" blocks, but in the meantime I had cut more red and white/off white/cream. I didn't use them up, but I didn't want to--they are saved out. But I used up my "boring" ones. For that I am grateful. There were esp. some in there that I was so glad to see "get used"--fabric I just didn't care for at all.
