I just finished 2 batik quilts and the color thread I used was a verigated multi color. It worked great.

Great job. It truned out Beautiful. Me . I use alot of thread. On that one Iwould have used variegted. But that's me.

It's amazing. Any quirks are clearly and completely hidden in the batiks! Just beautiful! :D One color you might right would be a varigated thread, that way it would change throughout just like the batiks. :D

Really a great job!! Trying the circles for your first stab at FMQ...well, sounds like something I would do. You did a great job! I think it looks great ...gray and all! I might have used the varigated thread or even a monofilament. I ALWAYS use a monofilament when stitching in the ditch on my tops (I'm not a perfect piecer and don't want it to show :oops: )
