Wow! That's a wonderful quilt. I think maybe your DS likes orange. ggggg Your piecework is fabulous, it gives the illusion that you could jump into the center of the quilt.

My favorite color. I'd have an orange room too if I could get away with it. Love, Love, Love the quilt. I so wish it was mine. I'm sure your son loves it. Great job!

Beautiful Quilt! You said it was easy - is it really? Does it take a long time to make? How did you quilt it, SID? Thank you ahead of time for all the questions.

It really is easy. It took me the longest to pick the fabrics. I started with 21 and added a couple more for borders. Get a few wild fabrics and even one or two that you don't like.

You just cut the fabric into strips and sew them together. Then you cut them apart and re-order some of them according to the chart.

The book, Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts, is really good.

I made this top in about a week. Took me awhile to get round to finishing it. I free-motion quilted it on my table-top machine. I'm not thrilled with my quilting, but it's "ok" for my first try. I'll do the next one on the long arm, though.

This was the 3rd or 4th quilt I made, so it is truly a beginner project.
