    Very striking colors! Great quilt and I'm sure it will be treasured. You did amazing on the quilting!

    Thanks, all, for the compliments! I think I am loving the quilting part of it. The flower motifs in the middle are kind of sloppy but I loved this meandering that I did around all the outside borders, after the first bit of frustration I relaxed and it went quite well, not perfect stitch size but by the end it was looking pretty good. Next time I am going to use a thread that contrasts & will show up a bit more (watch, I say that & my meandering will probably be horrible! Anyway, thanks to all of you on the board, I am feeling more confident (and addicted) every day. Amazing how a group like this can bolster a person's confidence and inspire so much.

    Great quilt and I think the quilting on the white block is just lovely, very fluid....thanks for sharing the pics.
