It will be lovely when finished! I can relate, as I don't care much for red myself. Hang on tho, you are doing great!

Oh, I REALLY like this! Red, white, and black are favorites of mine... even in baby quilts!

I have one like that and it is green, all greens and I hate that color with a passion. I do however like lime green--go figure.

Your quilt is wonderful. I love red and I love this quilt. Great job.

Glad to see some of you hate red as well as other all thinks im nuts . Funny have to tell you i also knit, crochet, do stained glass and funny as when people want stuff made they want red - i tell them no anything but red .

The first quilts i Crochet ever were for my two sons - they wanted red .. One was Red and Black and the other son wanted Red and Grey . I did them for them but took a long time too . Funny as my youngest 26 now who i am making the quilt for still has his and very proud of it and uses it .Each time i see it i want to toss it out but he loves it . And the other son well his dogs use it for a dog bed which i would have too - lol ..

You're funny. don't think I've ever known anyone hating a color! Stay with it cause its looking really good and they will 'love' it.

Try to think of how special your son and your DIL are - maybe thinking it as a labaor of love instead of "hating" red may help....Going to look great!!!
