Love this pattern. Haven't tried it yet, but LOVE IT. I need to make one for my Dad since he was a carpenter for years.

I got it done and thought it looked very Christmasy so made another with beige Batick where the green is. The red and white are of the same fabric, but I left off the Red square in the 4 corners because someone else on the forum made this and someone suggested that ,saying it would look like it was floating. I still have to have it quilted and then will post pics of it. It will be awhile yet, though. Thank you everyone for your nice comments. I do suggest you try it. From Marilyn's (danmar) tutorial it is very easy to do and this one I enlarged from her original pattern. Only able to do that because her tutorial was so good in the first place. I am not that good of a quilter, so good tutorials help.
