Thanks all! I couldn't start the quilting today...had an appt., but hopefully tomorrow..and NO...I don't have all my Christmas stuff done, I just love to live on the edge....LOL!!!

amma, thanks for the link...I can do the outer corner..figured that out on another project that had a weird shape..its the inners that I'm going to have to play with to figure out...maybe I can just reverse...I'm one that has to play with it hands on to "get it"...

Loretta...that is a great idea....I might resort to that...depending on my stress level at the time.

I hope to see other people's creations with the Chistmas DJ blocks!

I bet they really do POP with the w/w background!...You could go ahead and use it for a table runner. I'm thinking about spraying mine with scotchguard...has anyone done that?

Patti--what an awesome table runner!!! How long is it? You must have a big table!

I love how you set them on point---I would have just lined them up and sewn them together--not too much originality here!!

Thanks Marcia....the runner is 51" long and 22" wide...so not too bad. It does stretch the length of my table from end to end. I'll keep it on there during the day, then when we eat...I'll replace it with place mats I think. I don't know...we'll see. I just liked the blocks on point and I had been planning to use them like this since the swap began. Figured...it couldn't hurt to try one like this!
