    Default My Christmas quilt
    Today I finished my Christmas quilt. It is large lap quilt size and I am really pleased with it overall. The centre panel is paper pieced and the other blocks I took and adapted from a range of sources. It was the second big paper piecing project I have done and the first time I have tried QAYG. I’ve only been quilting and using a sewing machine for 10 months and I am pleased with the progress I have made. Next time I will cut the binding bigger (the tutorial I followed suggested 2 inch strips but I wish I did 2 1\2) as it was too tight so ended up wobbly in places. Overall I’m pleased though.

    I see why you are pleased with that quilt. It is absolutely lovely! You have done marvelous in just 10 months of quilting. Thanks for sharing your beautiful Christmas quilt with us.

    Beautiful! You did a great job. I would add a sleeve and hang it on the wall, it's so lovely.
