My Christmas zigzag WIP... that I am finishing with my NEW BERNINA!!!!!

Congrats on your Bernina!! I don't think you'll ever have any regrets buying her! My 440 is named "Rory" (Well, it is the Bernina Aurora 440QE   ) And I also have a granddaughter named Aurora (Rory for short) but she was born AFTER I got my machine

Welcome to the Bernina Club, Lisa, I am so pleased that you are liking your new baby. I just got mine serviced, three years old and I have done almost 4.4 million stitches! I was amazed. Most of them were quilting etc. stitches, not so many embroidery ones, as I didn't manage to get into that until about a year ago. (Going great guns now, after a one day workshop that got me started)

I am soooo happy for you!
I went to a LQS a week ago or so and asked for the BASIC machine - - <gasp> almost $700 !
one of the few times in my life I was actually window shopping and DIDN"T buy something ... oh, except for that fabric .....
I LOVE your quilt!
and, as soon as I get done dinking with fiddly work, I want to make some of these for our little babies in Operation Stork.
Thanks for the nudge .... <g>
once again ... I am VERY happy that you got a new machine and you are absolutely thrilled AND productive.
Well done!
