    Default My crayon quilt

After seeing Tartan's crayon quilt and mme3924's crayon quilt, I decided to make one. Here it is. This will be one of four youth quilts I donate to our guild's charity committee, as they put out a "We need more quilts for young people" alarm last month.

I think some young person will like it. I sure hope so. I thought it was a good use of scraps, until I realized most of my scraps are blue and purple, or maybe earth tone. I had to do some digging to find scraps for the crayon colors I wanted, and eventually had to borrow orange scraps from my sister.

Love it! I too decided I had to make one after seeing Tartan and mme3924's quilts. How big is yours?

Mine is 43 inches by 49 inches. I think they each had seven crayons, but mine has six.

That turned out so cute. It will make some child very happy. It couldn't be any more cheerful.
