Okay...I thought it was either just me...or maybe the backing was too tightly woven! I have bent soooooooooo many needles...and I haven't even gotten very far yet! I can't imagine how many needles I'll go through doing this! I did find that if I don't try to load too many on the needle, it doesn't bend as much, though.

But the fabric is very tight...

When finished it should be approx. 90 X 100. As printed it is 90 X 90...but I added a scalloped border stencil to the sides to make it a little wider. Our bed has a footboard so I don't need the quilts to be longer than they are wide...I need them wider than they are long.

We have a waterbed frame with an air mattress in it instead of a waterbed mattress, so I have to have extra on the sides to make up for the space taken up by the side rails.

Wow...beautiful! I admire you people who have the patience to hand quilt - especially something that big. Well done!

Truly amazing! I applaud the effort and patience that you have to have to quilt a whole quilt! It is looking lovely at the moment and I am sure it is going to look absolutely fantastic when it is finished Perhaps one day I'll have a go! Best wishes!

You have a lovely quilt going, best wishes to you. The quilt frame is very nice, looks easy to use. I made one twenty years ago which I designed myself. It took me a year because I had three children at home and a full time job.
