Here's Gabrielle trying her hand at my sewing machine. She's done some very small practice pieces but never a finished project. Tonight she made a pillow cover. She did so good! Charm packs and jelly rolls are definately going under the tree this year for her!

Be sure to keep the fabric lined up.

This is an awesome set of pictures - Gabby - you did a SUPER job on your pillow cover. Keep up the great work.

PS Gabby - be sure to keep Mom around as she has started you on a very fine hobby. We can all tell that your Mom is very, very proud of you. By the way - the gang at the quilting board is proud of you too.

    Good job Gabby!!!!.

Where did you get that fabric? I would love to get some for my granddaughters quilt. She loves monkeys. She sleeps with a stuffed monkey. Also, she lived in Panama when she was little so she loved to see them in the wild.

Excellent work, Gabby! :) Good form, good straight, even seams! And what a lovely smile! Keep at your mom, maybe she'll let you raid her stash once in a while and make more adorable projects :)

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, I'll make sure Gabby reads them after school.

The fabric is from JoAnn's, its a flannel.

How darling is she? Cute, cute cute and never too young to start her on the machine. Her pillow is nice and cuddly looking.
