LOOKS GREAT....I made a black abd white quilt for my darling husband abd had the top quilted with red thread and a red binding...very sharp looking....keep up the good work....

When you choose fabric for a monochromatic quilt, do you get real picky on what looks good together or do you find the color you are looking for throw it in the pile and start working without worrying too much about it?

I was VERY picky about the fabrics in this quilt. No off-whites. Only real white and the same black in every piece. And I tried to stay mostly in the nature theme, although I added a few geometrics she really likes.

I like the purity of it, not having various shades of black and various shades of white. It draws your eye more to the design and the patterns that way, in my opinion.

My daughter knows I spent over a year finding just the right fabrics and the exact pattern to use. She uses it, but is very careful because she treasures it.

I love it!
I've made that pattern before, except I did mine in purples.
No, don't have a picture of it. I did call my SIL and ask her to take one, but she hasn't :(
