You have a great start on your Dear Jane blocks. They're all very lovely. Make more!

Are the patterns in the book or do you have to buy the software? What format is the software in? Do you have to have EQ or is it in another format?

How fun! You picked some very nice blocks to work on. I envy you being able to be on a ship for that long. I get sea sick and two weeks about kill me!! LOL!

I really like your colors. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

I only have the book and there is an actual-size diagram for each block. I make a copy of the diagrams to use for patterns.

There are no assembly instructions in the book but someone on the Board recently mentioned a website that has awesome instructions: www.thatquilt.blogspot.com. The Dear Jane website....www.dearjane.com.....also has instructions for each block. Some folks on the Board have a Dear Jane CD but I have no idea if it's helpful or not. Many thanks for your comments! Karen

Giggling here....our "ship" is a 30' sailboat and we went to the Bahamas in May. 8-)
