One of my close friends had their birthday on Easter so I made a birthday cake for her but I still wanted it to have an Easter/spring feel. This is what I came up with. Hope you like it. It tasted great I wish I had a photo of the inside. I make a white sour cream cake and filled it with homemade lemon curd and fresh blueberry. I tasted fantastic.

Yes I did they are sugar flower (made from what is called gum past) and I painted them with powdered food coloring and lust dust. They taste good.

I think that your cake looks great. I am also taking cake decorating classes and its tons of fun. Everyone loves to get a nice looking cake for whatever reason. I have to make a cake tomorrow for class tomorrow night. Then start Fondant class next week.
