The Christmas prints just beg for a design that has large squares of one or two large prints. Add a couple of solids and/or tiny prints?
One way to get ideas is browse through catalogs like Keepsake Quilting and see which of their pattern/kit designs appeal to you.

It's almost identical to DD's baby quilt, but the corner details are different, and I will be using different fabrics. I was thinking, if nothing else, I could make the center focal block the original 14", then do a small border, a thicker pinwheel border, than another smaller border to finish it up. That would definitely make it her own. What do you think? Next would be deciding fabric placement...
I think the yellow in that pattern is the flower, so that is where the pink should go, with the grey-blue for the "leaves" and the floral print as the "background" and first small border. Pink again in pinwheels.

I would definitely use the music fabric in a disappearing 9 patch. I would use the instrument fabric as the corners that remain uncut, the dots as the center squares and the wavey as the remaining 4 squares. I think that would make an awesome quilt!!!
Where did you find this fabric? I absolutely loveeeeee it. We own a music store and I'd love to make DH a quilt like this. Hugs and smiles, wildlinda

I think the #1 trio of fabrics needs a darker fabric in there,the 1st and 3rd fabrics are too close in value;
a darker green would look great.
I like the other 2 combos.
