I can hear it calling from here "Chasing Hawk it is your destiny to finish me"....Seriously, that is one brilliant find. Very pretty and from the pics it looks really neatly done. Thanks for sharing your bounty!

Wonderful, wouldn't you like to know the story behind it and how it wound up at Goodwill?

Amazing to think that something that magnificent was hiding in a Goodwill store! And now it owns you! I hope you'll post again when it's quilted--should be quite spectacular!

Wow, what a find! Sort of makes you sad to wonder how it wound up there, but at least you found it and rescued it.

WOW!! Think of all the time and thought that went into this quilt top. To end up at the Goodwill is so sad! Glad you where in the right place at the right time to save it!

How nice to think that it's gone from being a donation at Goodwill to a home where the workmanship will be appreciated and enjoyed!

If the odd size is putting you off; what about carefully removing 2 rows then using 4 of the blocks to add to the side to make it a more friendly size. Then us the l/o blocks for coordinating pillows, or shams. I know I'd want to be able to use & enjoy this treasure!
