Thread: My fabulous, magificent amazing quilt find !!!!!!!!

    I found this at Goodwill today. It is all hand done, all the applique stitching. Even the squares are hand-sewn together.
    It is just the top so now I guess I truly have a UFO finally!!!

    I have found a few goodies, not necessarily quilting ones, at Goodwill, but never anything as nice as that top. It reminds me of a 1930's style of putting the colors together and some of the patterns used.

    never found one like that at our Goodwill. Lucky you. Rmjoy. But a little sad that some person put so much love into making this and it ended up at the GW. But it will be loved by you now.

    I am so happy that you were able to rescue that beautiful piece of work. It is such a shame that someone can put many hours of work on something and then someone else does not know the real value of something and dump it. It looks like a gorgeous quilt top.
