    my fall tossed maple leaves quilt block

    Been working on my top for the 2012 WGLR holiday

    radio auction quilt. maple leaf blocks made know.

    just laying them out for design. This is the progress

    that I have made so far. This is only 15 of the 20 blocks

    that go with this quilt.not enough space here.

    I've always loved this pattern and it's on my to-do list. Great job with color!
    A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

    these maple leaves are from the [Among The Leaves Block swap } I justed trimed them out and layed them out now to startsewing them together.

    ***I'm sure that some of you might still have some of the Blocks left from the

    I've been saving all my fall leaf fabrics to make a quilt like that some day...
    People who start projects and never finish them are cooler
    than people who never start projects at all.

    It will be a beautiful quilt -- looking at your blocks now make me want to make some of my own for a small quilt. Can't wait to see yours finished!

    I've made this pattern, but never thought about black as the background. It really makes the color of the leaves pop. Post it when you've quilted it. I always enjoy looking at your quilts.
