Ok I just love your houses ! I have done several wall hangings, etc. Let me share a new pattern name with you; I know you will just go bananas over it. Called Ryokan made by Joe Wood acutally pattern and all. It is in two issues of the magazine Quilt Mania. The sept/oct and the nov/dec 2011 issue. This is a quilter from Walnut Creek California. Joe and his wife have a Quilt Shop called Thimblecreek and you can also purchase the pattern there. They will happily send the pattern also. Great SHOP !

Thank you so much, dianemarie, for all that great info. I'll provide the link for anyone interested in the Ryokan pattern ($30). Here's the link:

This pattern is similar to another one I've seen and is just adorable. I want to go find the pic in my files and will post it here for everyone. It's similar to Joe Woods' pattern but I like this one better where the mini blocks are below the houses. At any rate, they are both great ones! (it's made by the Amish).

Well, I finally found the picture of the house blocks that are similar to the Ryokan that I mentioned I would post. Here's the pic: Hope you enjoy it! She did a great job (Marilyn in Idaho)!

btw, it was a raffle quilt won by one of her friends in the guild so she gets to see it anytime she said!
