My featherweight has a sister!

OK, all you featherweight owners, your addiction is wearing off on me! See my new girl? Its a white (greenish tinge) and she just sews beautifully. I got a black one last year from my hubby and I love it but it has to use the converter box (in North America and it keeps blowing the light. So, this little lady has a working light and I love her too! These apparently were the last gasp for featherweights (1968-1970). I really have felt guilty about buying another one as I only WANTEd her, didn't NEED her but after sewing the last few minutes, my guilt is fading. also, I didn't know this but they are actually 2 inches shorter in length than the black ones (or at least my black one), the fold down part is shorter! Haven't named her yet, my other one is called PITA (as some of you know my husband named her because he said I was a Pain in the A... showing her off. He does all my ripping out and says none of my quilts will fall apart using a featherweight, so much better stitching than my Janome

Your new addition is a beauty. My husband bought me one a couple of Christmas's ago. I named her Noel. She enjoys company with several other featherweights. They are so sweet and sew beautifully as you well know!
Congrats!!! :D
