It was a positive experience. That little machine purrs along nicely. I keep it in our bedroom and found I didn't disturb dh while he watched the World Series games. Our dining/living room is one long continuous room, and I usually sew in the dining room. I'm a big fan of sewing on the old vintage type machines but sort of got stuck doing everything on my 301A (next size bigger than the FW.) I'm trying to sit down at some of my other machines and go from start to finish on a project to really use and get to know my other machines.

Love your quilt and your use of your older machines. I think they are fun to use and such conversation pieces. I have a featherweight and a 401A and love to use them. They stitch so beautifully and are reliable. I have been having great difficulty having my newest machine, a BERNINA B530 serviced. They just can;t seem to get it right!

Very nice! The scalloped edge looks great. I have never done one of those before. Congratulations on a job well done.
