My festival booth

Have you thought of doing a raffle for you large quilt? I just did that for a few lap quilts and two baby quilts and made 570.00. It was for a good cause but I bet you could do that also. I know before I started to quilt I would buy raffle tickets for them at the town fair.

Your work is absolutely gorgeous! I especially like the quilt you're touching with the scalloped border and harvest motif, but honestly, it's all beautiful. The right person just didn't come along this year for the large quilt. But I agree that it helped to entice people into your booth.

Your booth is great, and arranged nicely. I love the big quilt and am surprised it did not sell. I did the Christmas bazaar thing for 3 years, and found out its just not worth it. I did sell one of my quilts, and wish now I had not. Mostly sold purses and small things. Lots of admirers and lookers, tho.

That is beautiful work displayed there! Do you think the economy affected it or??? I am making fabric boxes for our bazaar (fundraiser) and then someone commented they hadn't sold well at theirs. Sometimes you just don't know what to make or how something will strike someone. Beautiful items.

All of your items are beautiful. You do wonderful work and I'm sorry you were disappointed about not selling the big one. It was priced really well, but I think, at this time of year, people are looking for smaller items for gifts.
