    Feline I will be trying that next. This was done with freezer paper ironed onto the back and then the edges were basted to the back. So it too was "prepared". I tried to do the mug rug to practice needle turn and it took me over 12 hours, Seemed too long to do the whole quilt this way. I am sure I will come up with a favorite method eventually. I don't think it will be this method though. Like I said I don't like the holes it leaves in the fabric from the basting.

    I use this methond also and just love it. I can applique very fast when everything is preped like this.

    i hope so. It would be heartbreaking to go through all of this and have a hole filled quilt.
