This is the beginning of my Fiesta Quilt. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. Maybe later I will like it better. I am doig the needle turn. Not fused. Actually this part has been done with the freezer paper method. I am not real sure I like that because of the holes it leaves. This may be one of those quilts where the first block ends up being the best because you learn so much trough doing the blocks that you go back at the end and do the first block all over again. We will see. if you have a Fiesta quilt going of your own please feel free to ppost your photos here too.

Looking at the pictures i think I can see why i am having trouble with it. The blue flower in the center is actually 6 seperate pedals and the orange is three seperate pedals. It looks like one peice.

Dynamic colors set off with the black, this is going to be a beautiful quilt.

Either way, it will be a beauty when you are done.

Wow! This looks great. I want to try NT applique. So far I have only tried applique with the very simplest of shapes and already turned under, I guess that is called prepared applique? I glue the seam allowance with water soluble glue then applique it on.

Yours look fabulous.
