    Thank you all for yor encouraging comments. And yes this was definitely my first attempt at FMQ. I had practiced on sandwhich squares but did find that to be completely different from trying to maneuver n entire quilt through my domestic machine.

    The quilt is awesome!! The quilting is so good I am a little :mrgreen: Making something this beautiful so soon after starting , tells me you are going to be a quilting star!! :thumbup: :D :thumbup:

    A "gift for friends"? ! .... wow .... can I be your friend?
    I'd have to live with it at my house for quite a while before I could part with it. Your friends better feel amazingly blessed when you present it to them.

    All aspects (color choice, piecing, FMQ) of this quilt are wonderful ... You did a great job .... Perseverence really paid off.... What a sense of accomplishment you must feel ....
