My first Art Quilt

OK last one,
this is my first art quilt. It is hanging at the Arizona Research Institute.
It is all machine pieced except for the curly things on the bowl.
It is hand quilted.
The pic of the bowl is the real thing and the inspiration for the quilt. The pots are part of the collection at ARI.
Oh, my daughter is working on her doctorate in archeology at ASU. That's how this happened. The quilt was a gift for her boss who was instrumental in helping her get her committee to approve her Masters Thesis.

I have enjoyed looking at all the project pictures on your message board.
