I have been working on this bargello since September and I finally finished the top over Christmas.
I wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be and I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out. It is mean't to have a border but I'm not going to put one on as it is plenty big enough on our bed as it is.
I am going to give quilting it a go myself, which should be a bit of a challenge as this is my first big quilt, I have only made tablerunners and a single sized quilt.
By the way the pattern is called "lightning strikes" by Chris Timmins.

Beautiful!! I'd like to see another picture when you finish quilting it. Are you going to hand or machine quilt?

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

I am going to try machine quilting this one when I get a chance to baste it. Not looking forward to that job, but the quilting suggested in the pattern sounds easy enough.

    Thanks again, Sue
