That looks absolutely gorgeous. I love the fabric selection. I've started a simpler bargello, but love the twist... Great work!!!

I used a few batiks in this one and actually that was my first time working with batiks. I'm not totally decided if I like working with them, but they're so pretty I'm sure I'll use them again, many times, down the road. I bet a bargello made totally with batiks would be gorgeous. Make sure and post pics when you finish yours!

Your bargello is beautiful...and you should be proud of yourself for stepping out of that comfort zone we all find ourselves in. I too have a bargello planned for DH....he is always drawn to them when I show him pics even though he wouldnt know what one was if I called it that. He just knows what he likes.
