I took the class Saturday and just finished this up tonight and had to share it with someone. It's not quilted yet, though. The finished size came out to about 39x43. Part of my New Years' resolution was to overcome some of my quilting fears. Guess I can now check this one off the list!! :-D

One day I hope to make one as beautiful as Barnbum's, but I'm a long way off from there. Hers is just stunning. I did manage to cover another resolution of mine...all the fabric is from my stash! I didn't buy one fabric for this project. That part really pained me!!!

Not sure. I was thinking maybe just SID w/ monofilament, and maybe cables in the borders. I don't want to take away from the pattern or the colors. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.

Excellent choice on the fabric colors, tones and tints. Was part of the class dedicated to selecting the fabrics for the pattern? Your work is wonderful. I love the quilt.
