I'm excited. I just finished my very first quilt block ever.

Yeah, I know - I have a long way to go. I'm using fabric I had in my stash and realized that using a pattern with horizontal lines may not be the best idea for a first project. It's going to be part of a table runner.

    Anyway, just wanted to share.

    Thanks.

Congrats on your first block! If you posted a picture we can't see it. :) Let us know if you have posting it. If you view your message the picture won't stick to it. (Hope that made sense. haha)

You did a very nice job!
In the beginning, it is about feeling successful and wanting to do more.
If intensity becomes too much of the process - - then, quilting will become a chore ...
Keep working on ... it can only get better from here! And, it is a good beginning, so the quilting world is better because you decided to participate in it.
    welcome

Great job. You did fantastic for first time. Can't wait til you get it done. One of the girls I have been teaching for sew for about 6 months now just finished her first free style quilting on machine and did fabulous. I was so proud of her and she of herself. You have every right to be proud too kiddo!
