Well, here it is, lumps and all!!

It's not perfect, but it's done. I can't afford the quilting so i attempted to stitch in the ditch. Only my blocks didn't quite square up correct, so it's a little iffy in areas.

The back is a soft fuzzy type of fabric... I washed it first... it didn't shrink at all so I felt fairly comfortable putting it on the back.

It's wonderful Nepthys! So bright & cheery - I love reds & yellows together!

I love the bear fabric. I agree that the reds and yellows look great together. For a first effort I think you did a great job. Wonky blocks just add character :) !

You did a great job! i can't afford to send mine out either, that's why i only make baby and lap quilts so I can quilt it myself! Keep up the good work!

This will go to my new nephew, who will be about 6 months this christmas. I had hoped to take it to him personally over thanksgiving but that fell through :( there was no place for me to stay.

So I'll have to mail it down.

That is a wonderfully warm looking quilt.
Quilts are not meant to be perfect (in my humble opinion). The loved stitched in every seam is what shows. This has the potential of being a favorite "blankie".
What's next?

Looks great - you really did a nice job on the binding, too.
