Oh I like this very much! I finished a wallhanging today with the gridded lines on it. A pumpkin, but it was not a kit. If was fun but boy did that ever make a black mark mess on my machine. Did yours do that?

No it didn't make a mess. I just used a permanent marker and it was dry before I sewed on it.

Gorgeous, and beautifully done - you must have loads of patience.

Only if I like what I'm working on and have a show dead line to go to. Loooks like I missed drawing a piece or two. Have to hunt them down. I just got the 2 yds of steam a seam from ebay and my DH just brought me in a new iron.

Oh .. I had bought this iron on interfacing backing already gridded. I think next time I will use your idea and make it with the perminent marker. Thanks so much.

I still love your block very much. What striking colors. Perfect for working on in these dark dreary winter days.

I have read that ironing on a dryer sheet will clean your iron and make it go smoother. haven't tried it though. I have scrubbed mine with baking soda. hope dryer sheets work, is easier.
