You did an AMAZING JOB!!!! Love the way you pieced around the shirts. I made a t-shirt quilt for my DD and I will never make another one like her's again. I'll do another type but not like her's. I hope you keep up with the quilting and not quit that part.

I totally agree with what Kat said. I have been making quilts for years now and have never done a t-shirt quilt and don't plan to ever do one! Yours is awesome and I am sure your DD will love it!!

When you have that stretch fabric, do you have to layer a cotton or something else with more body under it just so it works?
Just thought I would jump in, having made 3 t-shirt quilts now. You iron a lightweight stabilizer onto the back before you cut out your piece to block size. That helps it to not stretch. Then you can treat it just like any block. Hope that helps.

I have made several t-shirts quilts but NONE look anywhere close to how spectacular yours is! Absolutely beautiful! Seeing yours makes me ready to do another one but using your style! I sure hope you won't mine me "borrowing" your fabulous pattern style!

    Thanks for sharing!
