That's very pretty! I'm not sure why but I was intimidated by Log Cabin blocks and had pieced tops for several years before ever even attempting one. (I made my avy quilt before even trying a Log Cabin) Now I can't wait to make one of the big diamond LC quilts.

I really like your colors you selected, can hardly wait to see the whole quilt. Nice job.
