Default My first project bag

So many things would be done differently if making more of these project bags. I only had an idea in my head and not an available pattern to use. I used three different coordinating fabrics, inside, outside and bottom of bag and made the bottom of bag with "box" corners. There is Warn n Natural between the layers and it's quilted in a cross hatch pattern with a zippered opening. Finished size is 16.5" across and 12" deep. It's large enough to hold, pattern, blocks, threads & siccors for keeping items clean or possibly travel. Wishing I had a serger to finish the seams with instead of just zipzagging them. Maybe Santa will bring me one!

So pretty. I love this...well done!

It's hard to tell the size of it in the photo so thank you for posting the dimensions for us.

If Santa doesn't come through this year with a serger, there is always the option of French seams, or you could decide to use binding...that is a fun option.
