It's a lovely quilt. So glad you could leave something for your daughter to cuddle with, I'm sure that helped you both. Thank you for the sacrifices you and your family are making for the country.

Thank you guys so much for your kind words. My husband said my daughter took that quilt with her everywhere (she was 10) She's 12 now and still sleeps with it, takes it on road trips etc.. I'm scared to wash it for it may fall apart, but it really made me come to love quilting. I have not done one since then (other than few quick rag quilts that took a couple of hours) but I have already started saving scraps and cutting squares for my next postage stamp. I love this board you guys are so kind. Thank you. My next venture is a Memory quilt, I retire next year and want to use my uniforms to make a quilt.

WOW...your first quilt...I made one of these - a twin size - and I will never make another one. Your daughter is very lucky to have this quilt as well as you for her mother.

Thank you for serving this "Beautiful Country" that we live in. God Bless you and your family and stay safe.

Beautiful quilt and daunting task for a first quilt. Hand piecing all those teeny tiny squares! Not to mention the having cut them out. That is called commitment, something that as a service woman you know something about. Best wishes to you and yours. We celebrate you home.
