i understand about leaving the quilt with you. my son adopted a kitten and when it was three weeks old he, then 22, left it while got his new apartment in order. fifteen years later we had to put it to sleep. it just got tired of waiting for him to come and get him. last year we put our daughter's cat to sleep at age 20. i feel like a home for abandoned cats.
someday your son will be ready to get it and be glad you kept it. for now, box it up and wait. what else can you do? sometimes appreciation comes later in life. :cry:

Loretta, there was no theme to this quilt. I started this in the early '70s when people did embroidery on shirts and jeans. I bought any iron on transfer designs I could find. same with the fabrics, one I could cut out designs to appliqué.
